Brenda's Stockyard Cafe

Located at the Lanesboro Sales Commission, you can eat a hearty breakfast or lunch with the farmers at Brenda’s Stockyard Cafe, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  And, feel free to step inside the sales barn to watch one of the region’s best livestock sales! Located 0.3 miles east on Coffee Street. You can walk or drive.

Clara's Eatery

Clara's Eatery, named after a former Lanesboro resident, is a family-run restaurant offering delicous sandwiches, paninis, pizza (with the freshest ingredients), small veggie or meat/cheese plates, & ice cream.  The perfect place to dine-in, grab & go, & get your picnic lunch for the park or trail. Located one block south of the Cottage House on Parkway Avenue.

High Court Pub

High Court Pub is the place for bloody marys, mixed drinks, local brews, and their delicious flatbread pizza to be enjoyed either inside their beautifully restored building or out on the relaxing patio above the Root River.  They host trivia nights, open mic nights, and amazing live music, just check their calendar on their website. Located one block south of the Cottage House Inn.

Home Sweet Home Cafe & Cakery

Home Sweet Home Cafe and Cakery is a comfort food restaurant that provides classics like eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, reuben, chicken salad, and delicious daily specials as well as sweet treats in their bakery case.  If you need a cake or other dessert that is equally beautiful as it is delicious, this is the place to call! Located across the street from the Cottage House Inn.

For "elevated fast casual cuisine" made in a scratch kitchen, visit Juniper's, located right along the trail and above the Root River.  Your tastebuds will be happy you gave them a try as you savor local ingredients (like delectable mushroom soup!) from their unique menu.  Reservations highly recommended and available on Open Table.  Located two blocks south of the Cottage House on Parkway Ave.

Lanesboro Pastry Shoppe

The Lanesboro Pastry Shoppe will cook to order whatever you want for breakfast (just not pancakes) and has a daily chalk-board menu for lunch with popular items like their steak sandwich, gyro, and tomato-garlic soup.  Of course, you must bring home some of their amazing pecan rolls, scones, or bread.  Remember to bring cash or check and an empty stomach. Located across the street from the Cottage House Inn.

Paddle On features local quality in their drink and brunch menus. The maker movement has encouraged individuals and communities to design, create, and build, driven by a passion for creating things themselves. Located south on Parkway Ave.

Pedal Pushers Cafe

Pedal Pushers Cafe serves up an eclectic and fun menu for lunch and dinner using local ingredients for its fun menu items like crispy brussel sprouts, grilled fish tacos, and a chicken grain bowl. Great kids' menu! Located one block south of the Cottage House Inn.
